No. The materials and process used are in no way dangerous or harmful to people.

Can I cast my two week old baby?
Yes, you can cast anyone of any age.

What happens if I have an allergic reaction to the products used?
The products we use are made from natural products and are safe to use on the skin. We also offer to do a patch test before the products are used, to check for any allergic reactions. We do advice that if you are unsure about whether you may be allergic to the products to seek advice from a doctor.

Will the mixture be hot when applied to my skin?
Not at all, the heat of the mixture is luke warm.

What will it feel like?
A little gooey.

What should I wear?
Old clothes that you don't mind getting spoilt. If you are having a belly cast taken we recommend that you wear old underwear as the body is covered in a layer of vasolene to prevent the plaster bandage sticking to your skin.

Taking a cast of your pregnant belly will have no affect on your baby at all, but if you are unsure seek the advice of your midwife.

This is your choice, but we do suggest that you consider between 30 and 35 weeks.
